Upcycled furniture & creative supplies on the North Yorkshire coast
Welcome to Rattanwaves! We are a family-run business based in the coastal town of Whitby, North Yorkshire. Inspired by our coastal surroundings and a shared passion for creative craftsmanship, we give forgotten furniture a second chance at life.
What We Do
- Restored & Upcycled Furniture: We source well-loved and discarded furniture, restoring original woodwork or applying hand-painted finishes to bring new life into every piece. Every item in our collection carries unique character, built to last and ready to bring warmth, personality, and a sustainable style into your home.
- Upcycling Supplies: Whether you're a seasoned creative or tackling your very first project, we offer quality upcycling supplies—from paints and oils to brushes, tapes, and speciality materials—so you can bring your own furniture transformations to life.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Rattan waves, we believe that eco-friendly design shouldn't compromise on quality or aesthetics. By restoring quality vintage and pre-loved pieces, we keep the furniture out of landfills and help you create a home filled with individuality and a story.
